THE PROCEDURE FOR THE LEGISLATIVE REGULATION OF GAMBLING IN THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

Ludomania is recognized as a socially significant phenomenon in the country, and the prerequisites for its occurrence affect the need to apply measures to counteract the spread process. Given that this phenomenon is social, it is reasonable to confront it both socially and legally. This issue requires special attention today, as the number of people involved in gambling is growing every day. Its prerequisites include the disappearance of a set of different levels of socially significant values, phenomena that generate situations leading to instability and inequality. This requires appropriate measures to be taken at the appropriate level, as it poses a threat to national security.
The purpose of the study is to provide recommendations for optimizing legislation, taking into account not only the current state of legal regulation of the gambling business in Kazakhstan, but also current issues and social opportunities.
The article examines the legal prerequisites for the emergence of gambling, the possibilities of legal regulation in the country and the development of effective measures to prevent ludomania. The results obtained will contribute to the legal regulation of the current gambling business and will serve as a basis for the development of future research.
The results of the study will help researchers and specialists in the field of gambling to obtain legislative regulation and a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of this industry.
