The article is dedicated to the study of the stages of development and improvement of the legislation on the securities
market in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Based on the study of different opinions of legal scientists analyzes defi nition of
the concept and basic characteristics of the securities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
