Criminalistic prevention of crimes

Abstract

The article deals with the problems of criminalistics means and methods of preventing crimes, the priority areas of law enforcement agencies are updated. It is concluded that in criminalistics science, preventive activity is associated with the identification of patterns of occurrence, detection, fixation and research of evidence about the criminogenic circumstances associated with the commission of crimes; with the development and use of tools, techniques and methods for detecting and eliminating criminogenic circumstances based on the knowledge of these patterns; with protection against criminal infringements of various objects; with the creation of conditions conducive to the detection and suppression of crimes; with the development and use of specific preventive measures that impede the commission of new similar crimes, and the suppression or interruption of the criminal activities of specific individuals.
