Anniversary under the sign of tireless work: we honor traditions, we introduce innovations

The article is devoted to the succsess of the al-Farabi KazNu in the year of the 30^th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is analyzed how the assignment of the name of al-Farabi in 1991 influenced the development of the university and the strengthening of international relations. All spheres of university life are considered - academic policy, scientific potential, social development, upbringing of the younger generation, international relations, trade union work. The authors pay special attention to the fact that KazNU is a recognized leader in the republic, both in terms of the number of entrants and the number of employed graduates. It is emphasized that a diploma of its own type is the key to a prestigious quality education. The authors focus on the scientific developments of our university. Indeed, the top ten owners of state grants in the country are headed by young scientists from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The Collective Agreement is analyzed in detail, within the framework of which the task is to implement the norms of legislation on the social protection of workers, the organization of dialogue platforms with leading non-governmental organizations, regional and industry associations of trade unions. In the end, the authors conclude that the KazNU of the future is not only a world-class educational institution, but also a center for research, educational, expert and social activity, capable of creating and transmitting the best ideas to the world community, disseminating knowledge and sharing experience.
