Participation of a lawyer in criminal proceedings in the Republic of Kazakhstan

Abstract

In the article the author analyzes the norms of criminal-procedural legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the participation of a lawyer in criminal proceedings. The author defines the concept of the defender, and also made a study of the rules of the Kazakhstan legislation and the recommendations to improve the legal status of a lawyer and his participation in the criminal process in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
