Abstract

The article discusses the questions of the environmental safety in subsoil use. The article also discussed in detail the international experience to determine the amount of damages. In general, we should consider that the use of mineral resources is one of the most complex and high-risk industries. At the same time there are threats to the environment. The lack of clear mechanisms to determine the extent of damage is a major problem in this direction. Certainly, it is important to also consider the interests of the business community. Environmental risks that lurk subsoil use certainly require the definition of clear mechanisms to ensure environmental safety.
