Abstract

The problem of compulsory marriages, marriages without consent of one or two partners, with application of physical or mental abuse, is especially actual today and is among the most acute social issues of the present.Early marriages as minors are incapable to provide the informed consent to wedding are connected with compulsory marriages. Kidnappings of brides, or stealing for the purpose of marriage which happen against the will of girls are also connected with compulsory marriages, and often interfaced to physical and sexual abuse.The early age, lack of life experience, fear and material dependence on the husband and his family does young wives vulnerable to violence. In article the condition of the legislation of the foreign states about responsibility for compulsory and early marriages is analyzed.
