Elections – the basic element of democracy: experience of Uzbekistan

Abstract

An article, there are some questions of development of electoral laws and practice of elections in the conditions of independent development of Uzbekistan. It is reasoned by author, that is the most important component of democratic transformations, modernizations of the country constantly develops and practice, the saved-up experience raise questions of bigger democratization of elective processes on the agenda is the electoral system. In article it is analyzed some political and legal aspects of formation of the supreme government representative body - Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also contents of the constitutional short stories of Constitution which is entered in April, 2014.
