Abstract

The article discusses scientific and public activity of Doctor of Legal sciences, Professor Zhumageldy Yelyubaev. Researches of the scientist include issues on the legal regulation of subsoil use; the activity of international commercial arbitration; the role of the state in the sphere of subsoil use; the philosophy and history of the subsoil use right. The proposals of the scientist on institutional transformation of regulation of relations in the sphere of subsoil use have been concerned. There has been mentioned his work as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Law Faculty of Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
